Before they became archenemies, they were the best of friends, worked together with other mutants, and stopped the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the epic prequel, a lacerated rift tore open between them which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

In conclusion, “X-Men: First Class” is about the formative years of Xavier and Magneto and how the school was formed and where exactly did their relationship took a wrong turn. As a bonus, a romantic element and some of the mutants from “X-Men” will figure into the plot.
