As reported earlier Sharmeen Obaid was nominated for the best film documentary as Savinf Face. The event took place on 26 February 2012 and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy made the entire nation proud by winning this award.
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has become the first Pakistani filmmaker and director to reach the Oscar of Hollywood as her film Saving Face nominated as the best director Documentary or Short Film. Categories of Oscar nominations were released on Tuesday 24 January 2012.
Sharmeen Obaid has made many international documentary films including Pakistan: Children of the Taliban, Pakistan’s Open Secret and Saving Face. Sharmeen Obaid has already won the Emmy Award in 2010 for her documentary film Pakistan: Children of the Taliban.
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy became the first Pakistani filmmaker to earn an Oscar nomination with her film Saving face, which was nominated in the “Documentary, short film” category as the Oscar nominations.

Meg White Hit By Sex Tape Scandal

The Post Chronicle has published a story claiming that it has, what looks like, a Meg White sex tape.
The celebrity gossip site is calling the alleged unearthing a ‘scandal’ and is even speculating that the tape could be a reason why The White Stripes have cancelled their world tour.
They write: "We wonder if the anxiety is due to this sex tape that has splashed onto the web."
Meg White has previously released a statement naming "acute anxiety" as the reason for the axed dates on both sides of the Atlantic.
Seemingly fearless of the repercussions, the site has published the alleged video footage and pictures on the site.
